Calvin’s remit will include writing and overseeing the production of the studio’s new website, managing its PR and advertising and further developing the studio’s communications with existing and potential clients.

Harriet is a graduate with a degree in History from the University of Nottingham. Following graduation she was keen to gain the relevant experience to pursue a career in PR and Marketing and therefore jumped at the chance for two weeks work experience here at Calvin.

However, she is such a fantastic edition to the team – we just couldn’t let her go! Harriet has now been working here at Calvin for nearly two months and putting her fantastic writing skills to good use working on most almost all of our main accounts.

Harriet has been particularly focusing on Home Instead Senior Care, Wilmslow Prep School, and even modelled for us for a recent Maid2Clean PR campaign.

When she is not working for us here at Calvin, Harriet enjoys riding, playing polo and spending time with her gorgeous puppy Chester who is just 8 months old!

We have been working with Cheshire Pet for over 2 years and were very excited to learn that owners Rebecca and Edward were embarking on a new business venture.

The pair have purchased 2 new surgeries: Victoria Vet in Glossop and its sister surgery in Chapel-en-le-Frith. Our remit has been extended to include managing the PR for these two new premises and in typical Calvin style we have already been getting stuck in with the new project.

During her first week Sara commented, “I am thoroughly enjoying working here. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly and I am looking forward to improving my knowledge of the marketing process. I am an old Wilmslow Prep girl so I already feel at home as I’ve been helping to write the school’s end of term newsletter, PrepTalk. Ten years later and I’m still Prepping!”

During this time of change in the care sector, Calvin’s remit is to help the charity communicate its range of services to people living in Warwickshire and adjoining counties.

After graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in Philosophy and Politics Sarah joined The Fresh Group in Manchester where she was part of the events team and assisted with copywriting for various clients. Keen to build on her passion for writing, Sarah went on to become part of the in-house PR team for Manchester-based hosting company UKFast. Here, Sarah’s role involved managing the company’s website, handling social media and coordinating large-scale projects such as the organisation of the Digital Entrepreneur Awards 2011.

Sarah comments: “I am really enjoying my new role here at Calvin. It is great to work as part of a small team and learn about all aspects of the business. It has been great to get to know Calvin’s existing clients I have already been involved in a number of new business wins so the job is definitely getting off to a good start!”

Sarah will work on Home Instead Senior Care as well as our home interior clients. As a new pet owner (a Ragdoll kitten by the name of Jeff), she is also keen to work with veterinary client Cheshire Pet.

The Swansway Group is a family owned and run motor trade group with dealerships across the North West.

They operate three Audi centres, two Volkswagen car dealerships, four Volkswagen commercial vehicle centres, a SEAT site and a state–of-the-art bodyshop.

The agency will be responsible for internal communications and PR.
